On March 31, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, Didi Chuxing, JD.com, SF Group, and Alibaba Group signed a cooperation agreement on the employment of veterans through "cloud signing". Fang Yongxiang, assistant director of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission and vice minister of the Ministry of Veterans' Affairs, and the heads of the four enterprises that signed the contract attended the signing ceremony.
At the symposium before the signing ceremony, Fang Yongxiang pointed out that the Party Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to the employment of key groups, including retired soldiers, put stable employment at the top of the "six stability", and vigorously implement the employment priority policy. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs conscientiously implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions and important instructions on the work of retired servicemen, resolutely unified the employment and entrepreneurship of retired servicemen with the relevant decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and issued a series of policy documents such as the "Opinions on Promoting the Employment and Entrepreneurship of Retired Soldiers in the New Era" to deploy and promote the employment of retired servicemen. The four newly signed enterprises actively responded to the call of the party and the state, fulfilled the mission of supporting the army, shouldered social responsibilities, and set an example for the majority of enterprises together with the two enterprises Poly and Vanke who signed the contract in the early stage. Fang Yongxiang hopes that more enterprises will care for retired soldiers, increase recruitment and training of retired soldiers, and continuously improve the sense of gain and happiness of retired soldiers.
It is reported that Didi Chuxing, JD.com, SF Group and Alibaba Group have taken out a total of 55,000 positions distributed in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) to recruit retired soldiers, covering e-commerce, online platforms, financial management, sales representatives, machinery maintenance, warehousing and logistics, traffic driving and other job categories. The four enterprises will also carry out special planning and priority assistance for the education and training and promotion of veterans.
The signing of this cooperation agreement is a useful attempt to explore the combined employment promotion model of "authoritative recommendation + independent employment" with the characteristics of retired soldiers on the basis of signing cooperation agreements on the employment of retired servicemen with some large enterprises in the early stage, and is also a powerful measure to cope with the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic on "stable employment", which is of great significance for promoting the solution of the "blocking point" of the employment of retired servicemen and opening up the "last mile" of employment services.
